Visit Lecce
A walk in the historical district to admire baroque mansions and churches.
The tour includes: the conventual complex of the Celestines , St. Oronzo square with the amphitheatre and Cathedral square.
After lunch you can participate in some amusing activities: a papier maché lesson in a typical studio of Lecce.
An artisan will teach you how to make our “pupi” (little statues)

A day out to enjoy the Adriatic coast and its marinas

The coastal road between Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca (where the Adriatic and the Ionian sea join)is marvelous.
Otranto is a village known for its 800 martyrs decapitated by the Ottoman Turks, their remains are kept in the ancient Norman Cathedral where you can also admire the XII century mosaic floor representing the tree of life. The Aragon castle dominates the village.
After lunch we will stop for a coffe break in Santa Cesarea Terme, and afterwards we keep driving south to the Cape of Santa Maria di Leuca.
Ionian itinerary
Departure to Gallipoli and Galatina, tour of the frescoed gothic-style basilica of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, visit of the “tarantate” chapel and tasting of local almond pastries.
Lunch in Gallipoli and stroll through the historical district.

Themed tours
Wineries, olive oil mills, arts and crafts studios.
Return to Lecce, afternoon with spare time to spend as you wish.
In the evening typical dinner and local “pizzica” dance.
